My Precious Puppy (LW5084) is a charcoal gray charmer whose dark fuzzy fur draws more attention to his little pink tongue. His pal Irresistible Crochet Puppy (LW5165) is all white with black ears and a ton of cuteness, while all pink (except for his gray snout) Precious Posh Puppy (LW5152) makes his own strong case for pure hugability. These patterns are all available free at Red Heart's website along with a list of materials needed to get them on your hooks. Each one will look great if you substitute the yarn faces with 18mm eyes and 30mm bear/dog noses. Pick hand painted eyes for a unique touch. Most of our hand painted eyes are available in 18mm sizes (you can choose any listing with a different size and adjust the size option before adding it to your cart). If you don't see the size you want in a style you like, send us a note and we'll see if we can make that size for you. They require quite a bit of Boutique Fur yarn. The list of materials assumes you have nothing in stock to work with, so it appears pretty pricey at first. If Boutique Fur is out of your price range you could try making them with a regular (non-fur) acrylic. They might not have quite the same personality...but hey! They're still puppies!
